Places of interest worth a visit

The Marina

A visit to the marina is a must when you visit Hull. You can take a leisurely stroll along the water's edge, take in the impressive architecture of the new sky bridge, dip into one of the quayside bars or restaurants or just go to the sea wall and marvel at the view!

The recent refurbishment of Trinity Indoor Market is central to the wider project of re-purposing the Old Town, delivering a vision where the city’s medieval heart is brimming with vibrant pubs, cafes, and bars around a re-energised Market Square.

Hull City

The outstanding MKM Stadium opened its doors in 2002, as the Tigers beat Sunderland 1-0 in a friendly to mark the occasion. Outside of sport, the MKM has also seen live music performances from the likes of Sir Elton John, Bon Jovi, The Who, Bryan Adams, R.E.M. and JLS.

Humber Bridge

The Humber Bridge was the longest single-span suspension bridge at the time it was built. Allowing people living in Hull to cross the Humber Estuary in less than half the original time. Now the eighth longest in the world the Humber Bridge was given Grade 1 listed status in 2017.

Pearson Park

As the first public park in Hull, Pearson Park is a key part of the city's heritage and still retains many of its historic features including the original perimeter carriage drive, a serpentine lake and seven Grade 2 listed structures.

Beverley Racecourse first opened its doors in 1690, and countless people through the years have enjoyed a day’s racing at the iconic Westwood track ever since.
